Dr. Baig's teaching and research interests focus on comparative politics and area studies, interdependence and transnationalism, globalization and social change, political ecology, political sociology, and social capital.
He is the co-editor of the book Mountain Studies, published under the U.S.– Pakistan University Partnership Grants Program administered by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) and funded by the U.S. Government.
